I'm not very good with these things, but what the heck, my children deserve a try. Im a 31 year old husband and father to two kids, a 8 year old girl and a 6 year old boy. When I was 7 years old, my mother passed away because of an aneurysm blew in her brain. This past Febuary, my biological father had an aneurysm burst and was barely saved. So, I went in to get checked for one as well. Low and behold I had an aneurysm waiting to burst myself. So, on May 20th, I went in for a procedure called Coiling. They pack in the aneurysm with small coils so that the blood flow doesn't go in the anuerysm. There was a 6% chance of something happening during the procedure, and during the procedure, I had blood leak from the aneurysm and caused me to have a cerebral hemerhage and a small stroke. I woke up with tremendous pain in my head and could not see correctly out of my left eye. I also had tingling in my hands, feet and mouth. Since then, I have gotten a little better, but am told I might have severe headaches for the rest of my life. Well, my wife makes just over $8 an hour and my Long term disability only pays 60% of my former pay. This Christmas I am just happy to be alive, but, my children went through a lot that month as I was in the ICU for 7 days and they were not able to visit me at all. I feel so bad cause I was off all summer and wasen't able to do anything because of pain and other complications I had with the bleed. I will probably have permanent damage and will never be the same again, but like I said, I'm just happy to be alive.
Any help would be seriously appreciated!! As my wife doesn't make much and my pay check has been cut by a lot, we barely have enough left over to pay for rent, we have asked most of our family to buy our two kids stuff for school, food, and other necessities, but I do not really want to keep asking for stuff and there pretty strapped as it is. Again, any help would be greatly appreciated. We live in Maplewood, MN and if you want to contact me, you can send me a message at here or at my website under Ironman..
