Hello I'm a mom of four wonderful children. Daughters age 10 & 9, my sons ages 11 & 5. They all are doing excellent in school and always do they're chores and always keep they're room clean. In 2013 we were in a family outing that cause the life of my husband (their dad) & my oldest daughter. I've taken the full part of being both a mom & dad. The hurt & pain will always be raw for us. So far we have management to put a roof over our heads, beds to sleep in,food on they're tummies, electricity and heating. This Christmas 2015 I can't afford a tree with decors, I was unable to purchase any gifts this year. Not even if it coated $5.00 . Since I have to make sure the bills are fully paid on time so it doesn't pile up on me. I need to make sure to pay the rent in full every month to have a roof over my children head. My children needs always comes first, I've had my tennis shoes for 3 years, it doesn't bother me as long as my children feet are covered and warm. We don't have a TV and we're ok with that, cause we do family things, like reading stories and doing puzzles or I play football catch with my sons and we look at pictures and talk about dad & sister. I would really like for my children to have a bicycle each, so they can ride it at the parks, with helmets. Or even a trampoline with the net guard, I know they will use & love it. They also like reading, board games, Lego, drawing. I hope everyone has a safe and blessed Christmas. Thank you for reading my post.

My name is Angela. I have two special needs children. My oldest is a boy, age 14, Type1 diabetic. My youngest, age 9, has suffered three open heart surgeries, had his left kidney removed, and only has one lung. I quit college because they required me to care for them 24 hours of my day. I cannot afford childcare for two special needs children. I can even get a job because I have to stay home and care for them. We are on a fixed income. One check a month and food stamps. After the bills are paid and I buy the expensive foods their bodies require to survive I have no money for anything else. NOTHING! I haven't drank a cup of coffee in nine years because I put their needs first. I don't have money for shoes for my self. Cant even remember the last time I had a pair. I ware flip flops all year because they are the cheapest thing I can muster. My children don't get handouts because I cant afford a car to travel and get them any. I live 45 minutes from town. when I need things I walk here to get them. The last two months I have walked to town every week day to come here to the library and further my education online. This year I was going to ask for some kind of help for the holidays and I came across this page. I must say I am surprised. I also must confess that I have never told my children Santa is coming. I tell them Jesus is coming. At Easter I tell them about Jesus not the Easter Bunny. I'm not even a church member and I know better then to ask for anything that I cant give back three fold. Well enough about us...what was is it you wanted for Christmas? My kids have never had a play station or an xbox...but one time my landlord bought them bicycles It was beautiful to see their faces light up..you'll have to excuse me now Im just babbling...You keep praying about toys for your tots I have to go home now and bust up firewood and put on some soup beans for my babies. GOD BLESS
